Justizpalast Antalya

The Antalya Courthouse won first prize in a competition held in 1983, construction began in 1986, and was completed in 1990. The rectangular building with an inner courtyard, positioned perpendicular to the east-west artery, reveals representative values ​​specific to the building through its mass and colonnaded facade character. To avoid the typical image of courthouse corridors, waiting halls and corridors open to the exterior, north, and south (towards the sea and nature), while the courtrooms and offices are located within the inner courtyard. A microclimate is created by the inner courtyard and the resulting cross-section.
